On 10th Dec 2023, the Bhandup-Chembur Zonal Discipleship group visited the MERMIER BAL ASHRAM at Koparkhairne, Navi Mumbai. Fr. Elvis gave us the opportunity to fellowship with 21 Street children. We along with the children sang praises to God, played games, danced, 2 Birthday boys cut a cake. We also, sang Christmas carols and gave them Christmas goodies. For everyone to be a part of giving and blessing these children we collected a love offering to meet the requirements of the Ashram and a surplus amount went as cash donation. We thank God for the visit to be fruitful and for fond memories to cherish.
On 17th Dec 2023, we a Christmas Fellowship. We played dumb charades to guess the Christmas Carol to sing along. Everyone exchanged Secret Santa gifts and there was a talent segment wherein 2 candidates volunteered to sing praises to God. While we munched on some snacks 2 candidates shared their testimonies. We had a wonderful time of sharing and bonding with each other. Christmas is meaningful when we bless others.
