18th November, 2023 saw a different approach to the words “Mission Outreach” at St Theresa’s Parish in Bandra. The target groups were the elders of St Theresa’s Parish and a few other Bandra parishes . The theme from Isaiah 46:4…. set the tone for an evening of Fellowship and Fun with dinner- completely sponsored by generous donors.
Praise and Worship, Music, Games, Dinner, Give-aways(a copy of “The Miracle Hour) and a talk on maintaining oneself in advancing years made a wonderful combination and was a rich experience for the attendees.
Dr Armida Fernandez, who was invited to speak about general well being in old age did complete justice to the topic..
The purpose of this Outreach was to invite all to the JEHR that is being conducted every month at Vinaylaya. So for the December JEHR there were 27 who attended, and more will be attending the Retreats starting January 2024. We give glory to the Father, Son and Spirit for the work they have begun in the lives of these precious people of God.
