One Day Jesus Encounter Youth Retreat (15th Dec 2024)

The One day Jesus Encounter Youth retreat was conducted by the YU4C Mumbai on the 15th of December 2024 at St Paul’s High school, Parel. It was attended by 70 youth from the Archdiocese of Bombay. The retreat began with a wonderful time of Praise and Worship led by the South Bombay zonal youth. There were thought provoking sessions delivered by preachers about God’s love, Sin and it’s Consequences, Relationships and Addictions. In all sessions, preachers gave inputs as well as welcomed questions from the youth that they answered based on holy Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). All sessions were centered toward the message of growing in a relationship with God.
The holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Christopher where he encouraged the youth to draw closer to God in a relationship with Him. The inner healing service followed by the infilling of the Holy spirit was a time of great grace. The one day retreat was filled with many opportunities to encounter the Lord, to know and love Him and was the perfect way to prepare for the season of Advent.
