Praying with scripture was the theme of the Night Vigil . Psalm 107: 20 “He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their Destructions.”

It was a night of great expectations for most of us who attended the Night Vigil on Saturday, 17th June. Bro. Prakash Dsouza, the Konkani Charismatic Coordinator, was invited to conduct the session. Around 600 people came to the venue Holy Trinity Church, Powai, while over 1000+ attended online to hear God’s Word and to experience his touch.

The Praise and Worship began at 10.30 pm with the YU4C Band, leading us into the mighty presence of the Lord with victorious songs, which was followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Bro. Prakash led the adoration and his reflection in konkani, which was translated to English, on how to claim the Word of God in intercession. Testimonies led us into a deep understanding, the power in the confessed Word of God into every aspect of our lives, be it our way of living, our children, family, businesses, work or our walk with the Lord.He shared his experiences of how people were set free from every bondage once they began to confess the Word in their daily lives and practically led us into confessing the Word in our own lives and situations. Many people experienced healing during the Adoration.

After a short break, we were led into a powerful intercession, which broke down many walls in the spiritual realm. Followed by the Divine Mercy and worship Intercession . At 4 pm the Eucharist was celebrated by the Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Church, Fr Cajetan Pinto.

Overall, attending the vigil strengthened our understanding of the Word of God and His power.

Special thanks to the Priest team of Holy Trinity, Powai. The local Prayer groups for all the necessary arrangements.
