Faith Factor, 29th September, 2024
The 4th edition of Faith Factor; a bimonthly faith jamboree for youth was organized by the Youth United for Christ, of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Mumbai on 29th September, 2024 at the Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kurla. The event was attended by over 500 youth from parishes across the Archdiocese of Bombay. The event began with a Spirit filled time of praise and worship led by the YU4C Mumbai Band. The youth in attendance had many of their questions on “Finding Freedom in God’s plan” answered through a thought-provoking talk delivered by Fr. Aaron Sequeira; as he shared God’s word and his own life’s testimony. A time of adoration and healing followed where the youth experienced God’s merciful and loving embrace.
A youth who attended a past Jesus Encounter Youth Retreat testified of his experience encouraging many others to make the retreat that was scheduled for the 4th,5th and 6th of October. The evening proceeded onto an insightful orientation that covered all essential aspects of travel and accommodation for Mumbai participants attending Kairos, a National Catholic Youth Conference that is set to take place in Pondicherry, from the 31st of October to the 3rd of November, 2024. The event culminated on an energetic note as the YU4C Mumbai band led the youth into a power packed jam session.
