JEHR Growth Retreat

14TH to 16TH NOVEMBER, 2025 – Vinayalaya, Andheri (E.)

There were a total of 66 Retreatants with 60 participants as residential and 6 non-residential. The Group consisting of varied age groups ranging from 22 years to 80 years . Each one has been touched by the Lord, experiences of a few are enlisted below .

Testimony A :

My expectation was simple — to relax and refresh myself in the presence of the Lord for three days.But God blessed me far beyond what I hoped for.I received peace, joy, happiness, calmness, and deep spiritual teachings that truly touched my heart.

Testimony  B:

This retreat has really been an experience of growth for me. Since in the past 6 months I have  been struggling with a major health issue. I came with the intention of resting in God and learning. God really gave me rest in my mind and heart. During each and every praise and worship session I was immediately entering in to worship and a deep closeness with God, which was a very very healing experience for me. During inner healing I felt a lot of release of emotions and was able to forgive many people whom I struggled to forgive before.

Testimony  C:

This retreat was well organized and I am glad and truly blessed, that I was part of the Retreat. It helped me in the following areas :

1. I am a person who likes to use my phone a lot. When I heard that we can’t use the phone, I thought how will I manage. I didn’t use the internet at all during the retreat and now I’m more careful as to how I use the phone.
2. The session on time and money has helped me think better and now I understand how to manage these resources better.
3. The sessions on Spiritual warfare and Know your enemy has helped me understand how satan works and how we can combat satan by inviting Jesus to take over, through prayer.
4. I used to think that conflict is because the other person is wrong and I am right. I now listen and then ask relevant questions.

The entire retreat was well organised . There was so much order in everything . Thank you for that longish afternoon break on the 1st day . It was needed and very thoughtful of the organisers. The food was excellent . The rooms very well kept . The talks were all so relevant and the preachers were great with their own styles and fortes , all dynamic with knowledge , wisdom and experience and above all the Holy Spirit .

Having being attending prayer meetings for 22 yrs and in active ministry from 9 yrs, I came to the Growth Retreat seeking clarity about taking next steps in ministry. The retreat with the practical topics such as managing time, money, emotions, conflicts, etc.,  along with spiritual topics like spiritual warfare, suffering, prayer life, how to pray for others, fasting has helped show me the direction to move forward.
